Spa Ceylon, one of the world’s leading Luxury Ayurveda brands yet again stamped its presence in the International Luxury Spa segment by clinching two major awards at the prestigious World Luxury Spa Awards 2016, at the bi-annual awards gala held in Switzerland. Winning the global award for best Luxury Spa Group and the continent winner for the best Luxury Ayurveda Spa, Spa Ceylon became the only South Asian brand to win in the global category in 2016.
The World Luxury Spa Awards acknowledged as the world’s foremost platform for recognising excellence in the global spa industry, which expands across 140 countries, sets the benchmarks in quality, innovation and service for spas around the globe and established as the world’s leading Awards initiative for luxury spas. Awards are presented to luxury on a country, continent and global basis based on the votes of global spa-goers and industry experts. The winning spas are considered the top tier of the international luxury spa industry and are promoted globally by the World Luxury Spa Awards.

We are also pleased that this award comes at a time of us furthering both our local and international presence.”
In the current quarter 2016, Spa Ceylon will open 11 new locations, with eight stand-alone Spa and Boutique openings across Asia, from Tokyo Ginza, Tokyo Downtown and Seoul in Korea to Hyderabad in India, Karachi in Pakistan, Port Louis in Mauritius and with two stores in Kuala Lumpur International Airport, both in KLIA1 and KLIA2. In addition to that, three Duty Free shop-in-shop locations will be opened at the Mumbai, Calcutta and Male International Airports.
In total, 2016 will see more than 20 new doors opening, growing the Spa Ceylon international presence to more than 60 branded outlets across Asia. In 2017, the brand is scheduled to enter the vast European market with a planned roll-out in Italy, while further expanding their Asian footprint with new market openings in China, Indonesia and other existing markets, to reach a total of 80 Spa Ceylon locations worldwide.
