The staff of SJMS Associates visited the National Cancer Hospital, Maharagama recently in an attempt to cheer the children warded at the hospital.
The event which was organised by the members of SJMS Welfare and CSR Society was able to bring smiles to hundreds of innocent faces when they shared the joy of Christmas with the children warded at the cancer hospital.
While staff members of SJMS Associates sang carols, a Santa who accompanied them filled the children’s wards with laughter. Little boys and girls were off their beds to join Santa in a dancing session with gleaming faces when each of them received a toy of their choice from Santa’s sledge, which was drawn near each of their beds. Items such as milk powder, stationery and pampers were also distributed.
