Sandun Gamage, a famous photographer from Sri Lanka, will hold his debut exhibition in Australia on 28 March at the famous Coburg Hall in Melbourne. This exhibition is being organised parallel to the Cricket World Cup final, which is happening in Australia and New Zealand, and hopes to attract leading Sri Lankan cricketers as special invitees. Furthermore, the exhibition will consist of photographs of a few famous cricketers and their families as well. In addition to photographs of cricketers, the exhibition will feature more than 100 outstanding photographs of brides, ancient places and a parade of the secret temple of the tooth. This exhibition is handled by AUSCA, an association initiated with the aim of bringing together Victoria’s Sri Lankan community. This exhibition will be a golden milestone in Gamage’s photographic and journalism career and will consist of carefully selected work from the recent past.
