Noritake Lanka Porcelain, the most sought-after porcelain brand in Sri Lanka recently expanded its chain of retail networks with the opening of its latest store in Pepiliyana to serve the burgeoning towns south of Colombo and beyond, ahead of the fast approaching festive season.
Strategically located at 358 Colombo Road, Pepiliyana along the 120 bus route, the 6500 sq metre store is replete with some of the best collections, bridal gift registries and novel designs. “This new store is on par with our international standards and will cater to the increasing demand south of Colombo. The market here is very discerning and customer wants nothing but the best. We’re thus totally focused on our market and offer the finest porcelain ware at very competitive and attractive prices,” said Noritake Lanka Porcelain Ltd. (NLPL) Deputy Chairman and Managing Director Yoshinari Shimaya
“The new store brings a lot of convenience to customers more so during the fast approaching Christmas and New Year season. We also decided to open this branch to make the public further aware about our brand and the world class designs and range we offer. A well-trained team is on hand at the showroom to help customers make their purchases and for the gift registry too,” said Director/General Manager Sujatha Egodagedera.
Treble Gold winner at the recent NCE Export Awards, Noritake is known for its durability, high densities, chip resistance and cutlery-mark-free chinaware. Its Bone China collection is by far one of the favourites for its exquisite designs. All the latest designs of fine China are manufactured in Noritake’s factory in Matale. At present the company produces one million pieces of ceramics per month.
