Kist Sri Lanka’s favourite jams, nectars, sauces and cordials are partnering the Galle Children’s Festival 2012 that is being held over this weekend in the historic Galle Fort.
Achini Wijekone, Brand Manager, Kist said that kids would be getting the opportunity to enjoy a collection of culinary aesthetics with their favourite Kist Jam at the festival. Wijekone said, “Over 3,000 kids are expected to take part in the festival through the schools day held yesterday and on open days that are being held today and tomorrow. The festival has put together some exciting culinary activities for kids between the ages of six and nine as well as 14 and 16 all involving the exciting range of natural Kist jams.”
The schools programme would take children to a real kitchen under the supervision of the charity ‘Children’s Hope’ where they would be baking cupcakes filled and decorated with Kist jams. The Jamming with Jam activity would show kids between six and nine years exactly how much fun they could have with nutritious and natural jams. A more advanced cookery activity for 14 to 16 years olds would also involve the goodness of Kist.
Wijekone noted that the Kist Jam range has a wide selection of natural flavours and tastes including the unique two-fruit jam, all fortified with Vitamins A and D.
