On a quick visit to Colombo, CJS Brand Ambassador Jacqueline Fernandez visited the CJS flagship store at Alfred House Gardens on Monday to discover for herself the ‘Love. Obsession. Romance Collection’ unveiled at CFW last week. She herself was part of the campaign that was unveiled at CFW, an intensely passionate look and feel that produced sizzling facets in an old world setting, the perfect foil for the collection which takes the age old timelessness of love, obsession and romance and transforms it into vignettes that captivate modern day style.
Quite enthralled with the stunning blend of classic yet contemporary jewellery where a canvas of diamonds, sapphires, rubies, emeralds, citrines, amethyst, aquamarines and south sea pearls set in matt gold and shiny white gold form the perfect backdrop for the enchantment that echoes intertwined passions, Jacqueline enthused that she simply loved the collection showcased at CFW. “I can quite see why this collection inspires all those complexities that go with love, romance and obsession,” she said.
“I love each of these pieces, some of which I was fortunate to wear while filming the campaign. This is a fantastic collection and each piece is so unique and different to what has been created before. The Aquamarine and Diamond Pendent set on a South Sea Pearl Necklace is just amazing. The craftsmanship and intricate details of each cuff, earring and necklace in this collection is truly a work of art.”
In fact, this was the first time that Jacqueline teamed up with New York Model Adam Flamer Caldera to present a collection for CJS, which auspiciously couldn’t have been a better union. “I simply love the campaign. It infuses the perfect blend of classic yet contemporary, secretive yet bold, passionate yet slightly reticent but with an underlying need to discover and explore the whole concept of love, obsession and romance,” stated Jacqueline.
Jacqueline and Akram also discussed the progress of all the Elephant conservation efforts she has been involved with and been a part of with CJS.
