Father’s day is to celebrate the contributions that fathers and father figures make in their children’s lives The Bayleaf restaurant set in an over 100 year old colonial mansion offers a warm setting to celebrate this special day with dining options in the open veranda, balcony , garden or in the privacy of three private dining rooms.

As The Bayleaf specialises in Italian cuisine, from homemade fresh pasta dishes, wood-fired pizzas and an extensive choice of anti pasta, seafood and steaks, has set a special menu to entertain your dad on Sunday, 15 June. From Pollo Affumicato con Frutta – smoked chicken wrapped with ham and asparagus, with chilled seasonal fruit, served with roasted capsicum dressing; fettuccini co aragosta – home made fresh pasta with lobster meat, cherry tomato, black olive, white wine served with a bed of rocket; involtini di salmone con dentice – fillet of red snapper and salmon rolled with king prawns, served with a light tomato sauce and pesto, reduction of balsamic and asparagus; costolette di agnello al forno – oven roasted lamb leg stuffed with garlic, rosemary served with red wine sauce are offered along with a choice of Italian desserts.
