Hemas rewards winners of ‘Fems Ran Million’

Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd. held the grand draw for its ‘Fems Ran Million’ promotion in Colombo and Chathurika Swarnamali from Bibile won the grand prize of gold jewellery worth Rs. 250,000 along with 10 other consolation prize winners who received a gold pendant each.



Weekly draws were held over a period of three months starting from November 2011 during which three lucky winners received a valuable gold chain each. The prizes were ceremoniously handed over to all winners and their families at a luncheon held at Galle Face Hotel, Colombo.

The ‘Fems Ran Million’ promotion was initiated in November 2011 as a means of rewarding customers for their loyalty and trust placed in the brand. The ‘Fems Ran Million’ promotion is the company’s way of expressing their gratitude to its customers.

“We launched ‘Fems Ran Million’ to engage our customers with the brand and reward them for their loyalty. This was a great opportunity to speak to our market directly and understand what our consumers expect from the brand,” said Shamali Perera, Group Product Manager for Fems, while commenting on the event.

Speaking further on the ‘Fems Ran Million’ promotion, Hemas Operational Head Roy Joseph stated, “The promotion was mainly in aid of strengthening consumer bonds with the brand and we are overwhelmed by the response to it.”

Senior Business Manager of the Personal Hygiene SBU at Hemas Manufacturing (Pvt) Ltd, Amal Fernando added, “The company was overwhelmed with the response and excitement the promotion had created. This brand engagement is exactly what we aspired to create and I extend our wishes to all winners and their families.”
