ODEL has welcomed the advent of the summer fashion season in characteristic style with a burst of vibrant colour and effervescent tropical motifs that dominate its Summer 2016 collection, store décor and advertising.

Tropical prints of palm trees, monstera leaves, banana leaves in Martinique design and tropical flowers, all inspired by the rainforest, give the collection a dramatic and lively look that is unmistakably summer, and set the mood for a season of relaxed and psychedelic style, courtesy of Sri Lanka’s favourite department store.
The collection features structured as well as the flowing long silhouettes that are currently in vogue. The colour palette of green, red, yellow, black, blue and white with shades ofslate, mushroom, gingerbread, amber, cornflower, citron, deep cranberry, pigment green, earth brown and salamander, combine the brilliant colours of nature and the earthy tones of the tropics to great effect, making ODEL’s Summer Collection distinctively thematic and eye-catching.
