Online cookery demonstration of Taste of Kerala

The Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre (SVCC), High Commission of India, Colombo, in association with World Malayalee Federation and Kerala Samajam of Sri Lanka will be holding an online cookery demonstration Taste of Kerala ‘Pidiyum Kozhiyirachiyum’ by Hari Krishnan and Anitha Hari Krishnan on Saturday, 11 July at 6 p.m. on SVCC, Colombo Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/ICCRSriLanka.

Kerala is known as the ‘Land of Spices’ because it traded spices with Europe as well as with many ancient civilisations. Kerala cuisine is different from the rest of the world not only in taste but also in cooking methods. It reflects a perfect blend of various cultures and ages. Kerala is very similar to Sri Lanka in food, climate and culture.  

Hari Krishnan, a logistics professional working as COO for a major multinational logistics company in Sri Lanka together with Anitha, a teacher by profession jointly will present the cookery demonstration. Hailing from Kerala and having spent majority of life between Middle East, Far East and now in Sri Lanka, Hari and Anitha, are spending their free time in exploring new technics to excite various taste buds by sharing the cooking tips of Kerala.
