Lavandula, known for its body and spa products, recently launched a new perfume collection ‘Touch’ for both men and women, to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The launch event took place at the Lavandula Boutique in Battaramulla.
Speaking at the event, Lavandula Brand Ambassador Saumya Hettiarachchi said Touch perfume was inspired by the romantic month of February. “It’s a month when most of the lovers go crazy looking for a unique gift for their loved ones and one can’t get much more thoughtful and sentimental than perfumes. That’s why we decided to introduce our very first perfume brand for February.”
Elaborating their success story, the brand ambassador said, “Lavandula started its production in 2019 in Sri Lanka with a hope of opening more branches nationwide. Since we have been researching about natural herbs in Europe, we decided to locate our head office in Stockholm, Sweden even though products are being manufactured locally; its meticulously crafted, with the finest ingredients imported from Sweden and Portugal.”
Speaking about the products in detail, Lavandula brand Founder and Chairman Chamodi Hettiarachchi said she is very excited to introduce their very first perfume product to the Sri Lankan market. Their products are being more popular among customers. They are interested in exporting to countries like USA and Japan but due to COVID restrictions they had to postpone their plans. “I’ve spent years testing natural ingredients to produce non-chemical body products, and all these years of my efforts are not in vain. Our products are harmless to the skin so from children to anyone can use our botanical products; it’s 100% natural,” she added.
“It was difficult to find non-chemical cosmetic products for children and myself. I have looked around the world and saw many people are turning to natural chemical-free cosmetics and food. We use wildflowers and different herbs, and plants to make Lavandula products unique and luxurious. Our luxury cosmetic brand with natural ingredients protected my family from the chemical world, and I strongly believe it would protect Sri Lankan people and the whole world,” she said.
“Our passion is to create health and wellness; a place where you can reconnect with soul and mind and pamper yourself. Our unique Lavandula products are specially customised to enhance your levels of relaxation and wellbeing. We have amazing treatment packages for face, body, hair and salon services. Spend the day with us and experience our luxury treatments and facilities,” she added.
