Kicking the festive season into high gear with a celebration of a selection of Sri Lanka’s finest automobiles, the Classic Car Club of Ceylon (CCCC) announced the launch of the Classic Christmas Parade taking place on 10 December.
A landmark event in the CCCC’s annual calendar, this year’s Christmas Parade will be hosted with support of main sponsor, HNB, together with event partners, Mobil, DIMO, Wurth Lanka, and Gold FM and is expected to draw strong participation from the CCCC’s 250+ membership.
“We are proud and excited to bring this year’s Classic Christmas Parade to life and wish to thank our members and sponsors for their outstanding support in this endeavour. The past year has been an important one for the Classic Car Club of Ceylon, during which many significant milestones have been achieved. The Classic Christmas Parade is therefore a great opportunity for our members and all fans of classic cars to come together and celebrate the season amidst the timeless style and allure of these amazing automobiles. We invite all fans of classic cars to take note, and make sure they find a great vantage point to catch this unique event as it makes its way through Colombo,” CCCC President Ramani Ponnambalam said.

Notably, the display will be open, entrance free to the general public while the parade itself will commence from 4:30 p.m. and continue along Darley Road, Union Place, Dharmapala Mawatha, Town Hall, C.W.W. Kannangara Mawatha, Independence Square, Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Thunmulla Junction, Galle Road, and Galle Face before reaching its final destination at the Kingsbury Hotel at 5:15 p.m.
