The Christell Clinic has cemented its position as the nation’s leader in cosmetology by opening The Elixir Clinic’s first global franchise in Colombo. At an event to mark the wellness titan’s entry into Sri Lanka on 17 October at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, Colombo’s social elite rubbed shoulders with the founders of The Elixir Clinic, as well as pioneers in the local beauty industry.
Founded in 2013 in London by registered nurses Acaena Amoros and Mahi Aramideh, The Elixir Clinic is an international wellness clinic that is recognised as a global market leader in intravenous (IV) therapy.
Currently operating across six locations between the UK and the UAE, the brand has now made its debut into South Asia by selecting Christell Clinic as a franchise partner, introducing to Sri Lanka their renowned VitaDrip infusions that have never before been offered in the country. This launch in Colombo is the first from The Elixir Clinic’s global expansion plan.
The Elixir Clinic is renowned for its diverse selection of intravenous therapy treatments such as IV Nutrient Therapy, designed to help clients rejuvenate, sustain long-term wellbeing, and create beauty inside out. Their renowned nutrient-packed IV infusions, also known as a VitaDrip, are unique formulations to help boost energy, strengthen the immune system, detoxify the body from heavy metal intoxication, cleanse the liver, and improve hair and skin health, amongst many other benefits.
VitaDrip infusions consist of high-quality nutrients: vitamins, minerals, and amino acids that are administered intravenously into the bloodstream.
This method allows for 100% absorption of the nutrients as opposed to oral supplements and in addition is more effective as it bypasses the gastrointestinal system – an advantage especially for clients suffering from poor gut health and gastrointestinal disorders. IV nutrient therapy isn’t solely intended for the ill – it also serves as a method for prevention and enhancing overall wellbeing; it’s a lifestyle.
The Elixir Clinic’s extensive selection VitaDrip infusions are designed to target Anti-Aging, Detox, Immunity, Muscle Recovery, Jet Lag, Fitness, Hydration, Hair Growth Support, Skin Radiance, Motherhood, or Post-Operative Recovery; all treatments are tailored to the needs of each client.
Speaking at the event, The Elixir Clinic Co-Founders Acaena Amoros and Mahi Aramideh commented: “In our quest to become the world’s leading wellness brand, we are proud to see the growth of The Elixir Clinic to South Asia by having chosen the Christell Clinic as our first franchise partner to kick off our expansion plans. Wellbeing is an important component of skin health and we believe Sri Lankans will appreciate the natural component of this treatment.”
“Over the years, the skincare industry has evolved from merely pampering services to offering treatments that are technologically and technically advanced,” said Christell Clinic Director Prof. Ramani Arsecularatne. “As part of channelling our efforts into providing our clients with the latest in high-quality services, we are excited to bring The Elixir Clinic to Sri Lanka along with the innovative and holistic services it provides – treatments that have never before been offered in the country.”
2019 has been a monumental year for the Christell Clinic. Founded five years ago by accomplished skincare expert Prof. Ramani Arsecularatne, Sri Lanka’s most reputed aesthetics centre has this year been awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2015 certification – the first skincare centre in the country to have implemented the internationally-recognised system, branched across the seas this year with a new outlet in the Maldives and will soon open a full-service salon and skin clinic – alongside The Cutting Station – at the Shangri-La Hotel in Colombo.
Acquiring the franchise for The Elixir Clinic in Sri Lanka is its most recent achievement, and the brand is committed to further serving the country’s beauty and wellness industry in years to come.
