From a range of brand new soups and starters to a number of delicious new mains and desserts, Cinnamon Red’s Flavoured restaurant has expanded their menu, offering guests a truly gastronomic experience in the heart of Colombo.
The newest soup on the menu, for instance, is the “Ginger infused cream of butternut squash soup”, while the new starters include an “Assorted sushi platter”, “Lamb ravioli”, “Lobster & prawn salad” and “Chicken lover parfait with blueberry jelly & chicken stuffed spinach cannelloni, served with tomato & bell pepper marmalade”.
Both meat and seafood lovers will be delighted to know that the new main courses include “Batter fried barramundi fillet”, “New Asian salt and pepper prawns”, “Duo of chicken”, and “Chinese hot chili pork”. Those who favour some pasta will enjoy the “Frutti di mare” which consists of a selection of spaghetti, penne or macaroni with pink seafood sauce, and is served with white fish, prawns or calamari. In addition, the Indian section now includes a “Butter chicken” dish, while the Oriental section included “Mixed fried rice” and the “Rice and curry with prawns” is the latest addition to the Sri Lankan category.
If all these dishes haven’t got your mouth watering, the desserts certainly will! Four new items have been introduced to the sweet section of the menu, including “Wild raspberry scented chocolate volcano with vanilla ice cream”, “Holiday black forest cheesecake”, “Layer of lee opera cake with tiramisu” and “Lemon ice box with crispy crumble”.
