Sri Lanka Institute of Confectionery and Culinary Arts (SLICCA), previously known as ‘Finest Bakes Institute’ will be hosting the annual exhibition on 29 and 30 January at Hotel Galadari.
The Chief Guest of the event will be Minister of Trade Honourable Bandula Gunawardana. The sugar show will be opened for public on both days from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
SLICCA takes the honour in hosting The Sri Lankan Cake Award Competition for the fourth consecutive year. Cake Artists across the country are nominated in over 20 categories as
finalists.
Over 250 exhibits will be displayed from the students and the cake artists as finalists.
“We welcome the general public to visit to the ultimate sugar show in the country. Sri Lankan Cake Award is all about recognising talents,” stated SLICCA.
SLICCA/Sri Lanka Cake Award Founder Dr. F. Rushda will take the role in the judging, along with a panel of international judges who will be joining the show virtually.
