Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s Sunday Carvery is back in action bigger and better than ever before, with ‘action’ being the key word!  The buffet has been enhanced to include a series of action stations such as for fish and chips, salads and pastas.  The food is not the only aspect of the afternoon that has received a facelift.  The talented performers that comprise the band Jags Quartet will add a fresh flavor to the day’s activities with Gananath Dasanayake, a saxophonist and vocalist who has the ability to keep audiences spellbound.  Coupled with Ashane Bernard, a sensation on keyboards, Suraj Gunawardene, the gifted base guitarist and Jude Thiyagaraja who has a way with drums, the band creates the perfect sound for a Sunday afternoon.

The day may begin as early as 7.00am, or anytime thereafter, for those who would like to work up an appetite in the 33 metre shimmering blue pool situated conveniently near 7 Degrees North, where the Sunday Roast takes place.  Sunday Roast tickets entitle guests to complimentary use of the swimming pool for the day until 9.00pm.  In partnership with Alpha Orient Lanka, the hotel offers chilled cans of a certain beverage to all diners in unlimited quantities.

True to the British Sunday Roast tradition, the buffet comprises items such as succulent roast chicken, ham, Yorkshire pudding, baked potatoes, poached fish, red wine jus, herb jus, roast vegetables, and an assortment of soft breads straight from the oven.

The Sunday Roast will be open every Sunday at 7 Degrees North, from 12.00 pm to 3.00 pm for an affordable indulgence at Rs. 1,500++++ per person.  It provides an opportunity to spend an afternoon with family or friends, where along with exceptional cuisine and music the hotel offers the added benefit of physical activity with the use of the swimming pool.  For inquiries, guests are invited to contact 7 Degrees North on 2491948.
