SriLankan Airlines’ ‘Christmas on Wings 2011’ this Sunday

SriLankan Airlines brings alive the spirit of the Christmas season with its annual carol service ‘Christmas on Wings’ at the Ananda College Auditorium on Sunday, 11 December at 6 p.m.

The programme will feature several popular and timeless Christmas melodies and hymns in all three languages, performed by the talented SriLankan Airlines Choir, including solo numbers and duets.

This year ‘Christmas on Wings’ is even more significant as it celebrates 28 years of music, song, and dance. As on previous occasions, this year’s programme will include several short plays and entertaining dance acts, all by members of the staff and their immediate family members, adorned in colourful costumes.

An important aspect of the cast and members of the choir is that they come from all of Sri Lanka’s four religions and the event is therefore not one for Christians alone.
