‘Splendours of the Sea’, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo’s gastronomic tribute to seafood takes place for the first time this year on 17 February. Fresh seafood will be presented to guests at the Terrace overlooking the waters of the Beira Lake and the hotel’s infinity pool. It is a hotel-wide belief that the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo diner deserves only the very best and this seafood night will be no exception.
The clean waters surrounding our beautiful island nation make the finest seafood available to us. Splendours of the Sea is a celebration of this blessing, serving a wealth of seafood from Red Snapper, Oysters, Sea Bass, Seer, Prawns, Crab, Tuna, Oysters and Handallo.
Diners are invited to participate in the preparation of their meal by hand picking their seafood from a display on ice. They may then select a preparation method for each with the assistance of the hotel chefs. Should the choice be Chinese, Thai, grilled, fried or devilled, the diner is assured of a delicious outcome.
The fresh seafood is accompanied by an extensive international dinner buffet consisting of salads, pastas, rice and lasagna, along with a variety of vegetable and meat dishes. Cinnamon Lakeside diners always look forward to dessert and this day is no exception with a fabulous spread of desserts to end the night with.
Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, true to its word, offers affordable indulgence for all ages, making the seafood buffet available to patrons at just Rs. 1,700 ++++. Beginning at 7p.m., food will be served until 11p.m. Considering the popularity of seafood amongst diners, it is advised to make a prior reservation.
