With access to the freshest pickings of the Indian Ocean, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo has chosen to treat guests to some splendours of the sea over a three day promotion. From 12 to 14 January, the Terrace overlooking the hotel’s pool as well as the Beira Lake will be host to the second seafood promotion of its sort.
Guests control their meal all the way, from selecting the choicest pieces of seafood, to how they would like each item prepared. The day’s catch will be displayed on ice for guests to hand pick. Once their selections are made, the diner is presented with a variety of preparation methods. Be it Chinese, Thai, grilled, fried or devilled, with the assistance and advice of the Chefs on hand, the meal promises to be a flavoursome treat.
An extensive array awaits the diner, with Red Snapper, Oyster, Sea Bass, Seer, Prawns, Crabs, Tuna, Oysters and even Handallo, just to name a few. Guests may also order Lobster, which is not included in the buffet but can be served at an additional Rs. 680+++ per 100g if requested.
The seafood will be accompanied by an extensive international dinner buffet consisting of salads, pastas, rice and lasagna, along with a variety of vegetable and meat dishes. As always, the hotel presents a spread of desserts to end the meal with that will leave diners with nothing but sweet memories of a delightful evening spent in a most relaxing atmosphere.
Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, true to its word, offers affordable indulgence for all ages, making the seafood buffet available to patrons at just Rs. 1,500 all inclusive.
