The sunset, the unusually extensive beach front and the Colombo skyline are a photographer’s delight at the Mount Lavinia Hotel, an establishment that has been adjudged ‘One of the World’s Best Gathering Places’ by Newsweek.

To top it all off, connoisseurs of gracious living come for the heart-stoppingly beautiful panorama of the Indian Ocean but equally potent is the tantalising delicacies all cooked up by world class chefs that make your visit to the hotel nothing short of picture perfect.

To be on par with this picturesque experience, the Mount Lavinia Hotel has launched a new dinnertime experience every Sunday night priced at Rs. 2,475 with over 15 authentic Sri Lankan dishes.

‘Ape Kema,’ with Chef Pubilis exalts culture and the vibe of dazzling Sri Lanka through mouthwatering tastes.

On 1 July, diners will not only taste delicacies from the culinary legend himself, Chef Pubilis, but experience firsthand the vibrant voices of Sanath Nandasiri, T. M. Jayaratne, Ishaq Begg and much more.

The menu is inspired by the indigenous ingredients of Sri Lanka and will be served degustation style complemented by live oriental music by Manoj Pieris – a noteworthy name in the oriental music arena of Sri Lanka every Sunday night.

“I think the fact that the dining experience is accompanied by Sri Lanka’s marvels who are popular in their disciplines and also shows Sri Lanka’s culture in one night is indeed an experience that should not be missed,” stated MLH General Manager Anura Dewapura.
