MLH to celebrate with All-American BBQ on 4 July

The All-American BBQ night is a fully sanctioned grand American BBQ by Chef Indika of Mount Lavinia Hotel. MLH celebrates Uncle Sam’s Independence Day with a great and grand American style BBQ prepared by MLH’s very own American Chef: Indika.

The Great All-American BBQ night will surface a chef-prepared spread that is synonymous with great American BBQs. Coney Island hotdogs, BBQ baby back ribs, buttermilk fried chicken, Memphis style pulled pork shoulder sandwiches, blackened snapper with creole, Texas style pork and beans, double stuffed naked potatoes, Mississippi mud brownies, blueberry pie and peach cobbler are just a few to tempt your taste buds.

“We have been thrilled at the response by guests last year when they really enjoyed the Jazz and Country Brunch, stating the authenticity of the american culture with food and entertainment. Many new guests have been asking us what we intend to do for 4 July and with great gusto, I stated ‘An-All American BBQ, what else!’ The biggest compliment I got is when a customer replied, ‘We definitely will be there!’ Our emphasis is on using the finest meats and ingredients for our barbecue, home-made side dishes and made-from-scratch desserts,” said Anura Dewapura, General Manager of MLH.

The journey will continue in the USA till 10 July when the White House Chef too stirs up your taste buds with those tasty anecdotes.

The All-American BBQ will be held only on 4 July to honour Independence Day from 7:30 p.m. onwards and is priced at Rs. 2,600 per person.
