Sri Lanka’s Number One English Radio Station, is gearing up to present yet another extravagant event. After a sellout show last year, Gold FM once again brings you the much anticipated annual gala musical event ‘The 70s Show 2011,’ to be held on 23 December, featuring the very best of our local artists.

Gold FM continues to win the hearts of their listeners as they bring back the biggest genres of the 70s, disco, country and a bit of rock n roll. Relive fond memories from the decade, at the biggest 70s show this country has ever seen. A special treat to celebrate the festive season with your family, friends and favorite DJs at Gold FM.

The spectacular event will feature some of the leading artists in the country. Vocal coach and singing extraordinaire, Maxi Rozairo brings his unique personal style. Geoffrey Fernando of Purple Rain takes on the 70s in an electrifying performance.

Guitarist, Pianist, Bassist and vocalist Mariazelle Goonetilleke, will perform some all-time favorite retro hits.

To spice up your 70s music experience even more: Natasha Ratnayake, Judy De Silva, Ranil Amirthaiah, Ricki Bahar and Gold FM’s very own Shafi and Monique, with music provided by Billie Fernando, Misty and Sam the Man will also be performing.
