Flare Bartender at Chaaya Tranz Hikkaduwa

Kunal Sharma, flare bartender especially flown in from India will be performing in Chaaya Tranz Hikkaduwa from 1 December to 14 December.

Kunal has experience of eight years in the industry and has gained extensive knowledge about every beverage and every ingredient that goes into the mixology process, exhibition bartending along with understanding guest behaviour and psychology.

He started his career with a stint at Hard Rock Cafe – Mumbai, and took the opportunity to go to Dubai and gain international experience.

He enhanced his knowledge of bartending by working with world renowned bartenders such as Frenchesco Lione and Den and eventually worked with P&O Cruise lines.

Kunal today is successfully working as a Senior Trainer/Flair Bartender with Cocktails and Dreams, Mumbai. He has executed many events all over India such as Derby, Johnnie Walker Race Day, Bacardi “Be live and Mega Mix”, Lakme Fashion Week, exclusive events for world class corporates such as Ambani’s Reliance, Nitco, Lupin, and many more. His personal mission today is to encourage the performance and sport of flair bartending along with a strong foundation of accuracy and service.

Chaaya Tranz Hikkaduwa, which was launched on 19 November will host the famed bartender. The 150 room resort houses 140 superior rooms and six deluxe rooms, two corner suites and two family suites; all with direct sea views.

The facilities of the resort will ensure a fully refurbished main restaurant, speciality crab restaurant, Mediterranean restaurant cigar and wine bar and lounges as well as a roof top spa, PADI certified dive centre.
