“Ceylon Continental Hotel” launches Business Lunch

It’s been made official - luncheon seekers around Colombo will continue to be tempted by an exclusive blend of business and pleasure, within Mogul surroundings, five star service and spicy, authentic cuisine.

On Wednesday the 27th of October, a month after the promotion’s successful trial period, Ceylon Continental marked the launch of its Business Lunch at the Tandoor restaurant, meant to satisfy the taste and the schedule of the busy executive.

“Five different menus will be served on each day of the week as a three course sit down lunch between 12noon and 2.30pm. A special twelve-item Lassi menu is also on offer which could be taken separately. You choose to finish the lunch between 45 minutes or two hours we are geared to serve” Ravi Stanislaus - Food and Beverage Manager of the hotel said.

An assortment of aromatic dishes including chicken, fish, and vegetable are being prepared with attention to authenticity by the team of Chefs.

Priced at Rs. 750/- Nett per person, with our Restaurant manager Mr. Muneesh Sharma flown in from North India overseeing operations, we can guarantee exceptional service.

Sanjaya Prasad Bhatt, the Hotel’s Indian Chef is the new member of the team; his specialty in serving Indian food has been shaped over the years by working in such exotic five star locations in north India.

Chef Buddha Bahadoor and the ably qualified Mr.Muneesh Sharma, with his 8 years of experience and Bachelors in Hotel Management from the University of Bangalore, make up the rest of the Team.
