What would be the point of living in a coastal city if you didn’t indulge in a seafood feast every so often? This is why Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo organises a seafood promotion every other month. It’s three days of just about every type of seafood you desire just the way you like it.
Red snapper, oyster, sea bass, seer, prawns, crabs, tuna, oysters and even handallo will be displayed on ice for you to select from. Lobster too will be available at an additional charge per 100 grams.
Savour the underwater specialties in a preparation of your choice, be it Thai, grilled, Chinese, devilled or fried. The hotel’s chefs will be available to make recommendations and to prepare your seafood as you wait.
An extensive international dinner buffet will accompany the seafood consisting of salads, pastas, rice and lasagna, along with a variety of vegetable and meat dishes. Follow this up with the frosting on the cake – a dessert buffet with an attractive array of choices that will get the better of anybody’s self-control.
The ‘Splendours of the Sea’ promotion will take place from 10 to 12 August at the Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo Terrace – a dazzling location by the hotel’s pool with an unblemished view of the Beira Lake. A more relaxed venue is hard to come by in the city.
The buffet will be open from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. and is priced at just Rs. 1,500++++, surprisingly low for a seafood buffet at a five star hotel. A prior reservation is recommended and may be made by contacting the hotel on 2491998. The staff there will be happy to assist with inquiries too.
Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo has earned a name for itself for its successful special promotions, and this one is no exception.
