Diwali Ball at the Taj Samudra Colombo

The Indian community of Colombo danced the night away at the annual Diwali Ball hosted by the Taj Samudra Colombo in association with COLIND. Bollywood tunes and fireworks kept the crowd entertained through the night and it was one big family at the North lawns of the Taj Samudra.

Diwali, the festival of lights is the most celebrated holiday in India; the ball meant much to expat Indians living and working in Sri Lanka, it was a little piece of India in the middle of Colombo where Bollywood came to life!
