Sri Lanka is a key host of the ICC World Cup, and Heist Bar seeks to co-host this celebratory, fun filled and passionate season with great cricket related promotions.

Daily from 2:30 p.m. onwards, Heist Bar looks to give cricket fans of the capital city an unmatched experience with one large screen and three LED screens set up for guests to cheer along as they watch their favourite matches.

The Heist is making available a celebratory menu of bite-sized items for fans to enjoy, apart from the traditional meals that are generally on offer. From char grilled pork spare ribs to crispy cuttlefish, spicy cheese toast to cashew nuts and olives, the extravagant menu will appeal to all types of foodies in search for a platter of bites or a more filling serving.

Perhaps as equally appetising is the Heist Cocktail menu. Themed drinks will be on offer to those entering the bar on a sizzling Colombo summer afternoon. From the brandy and arrack based Murali’s Doosra to the controversial Dilhara’s No Ball to the quick paced Slinger, a fusion of dark rum, arrack, passion cordial and a dash of lime, the cocktail menu is sure to put patrons in the right spirit at the right time.  The Heist’s Happy Hour will be on offer during every Power Play taken by teams playing at that time. “We invite all our patrons to come in the right spirits. Bring your friends and colleagues, dress up and don make up if you feel like it. This is cricket season and Heist serves to give all cricket fans what they are looking for,” a spokesperson for Ceylon Continental said.

When cricket telecasts are not scorching through the bar, infusing passion amongst vibrant supporters, live music will continue through unplugged bands seven days a week.

The Heist Bar is open from 10am to midnight everyday and till 2am on Friday. The Ceylon Continental Hotel is owned and managed by the Hayleys Group. To experience all that Ceylon Continental has to offer, please call 242 1221 Ext: 1410 or visit www.ceyloncontinental.com.
