Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo turns back the clock every Friday night at The Library with the best of the 80s and 90s. DJ Hoops spins tracks like ‘Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough’, ‘I’m Coming Out’, ‘Super Freak’, ‘Turn the Beat Around’ and ‘Summer of 69’ set off by live performances by Aubrey and his band ‘Heat’. So put on your dancing shoes and head out to The Library every Friday from 8.30 p.m. to 2 a.m.
To put everyone into the spirit of night, the hotel offers some amazing deals such as a 30% discount on a flavoured beverage and one to one shots where you buy one and get another free, or you can try your luck by tossing a coin at the bar – heads you get a free shot and tails you pay for it! A bottle bank is available to members too, and on the last Friday of the month, Members are welcome to bring their own bottle.
The Library is designed after a unique club lounge concept around an actual library that hosts a sophisticated collection of books for guests to enjoy. The club is one of Colombo’s most exclusive and by day is the choice venue for high profile business meetings or a quiet lunch. After work it doubles as a place to unwind with a game of pool, music and drinks with friends or colleagues and after dinner it serves as the place to head to for drinks and dancing.
