Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo turns back the clock every Friday night at The Library with the best of the 80s and 90s.  DJ Hoops spins tracks like ‘Don't Stop 'Til You Get Enough’, ‘I’m Coming Out’, ‘Super Freak’, ‘Turn the Beat Around’ and ‘Summer of 69’ set off by live performances by Aubrey and his band ‘Heat’.  So put on your dancing shoes and head out to The Library every Friday from 8.30 p.m. to 2 a.m.

To put everyone into the spirit of night, the hotel offers some amazing deals such as a 30% discount on a flavoured beverage and one to one shots where you buy one and get another free, or you can try your luck by tossing a coin at the bar – heads you get a free shot and tails you pay for it!  A bottle bank is available to members too, and on the last Friday of the month, Members are welcome to bring their own bottle.

The Library is designed after a unique club lounge concept around an actual library that hosts a sophisticated collection of books for guests to enjoy.  The club is one of Colombo’s most exclusive and by day is the choice venue for high profile business meetings or a quiet lunch.  After work it doubles as a place to unwind with a game of pool, music and drinks with friends or colleagues and after dinner it serves as the place to head to for drinks and dancing.  During any time of the day it is also the ideal place to catch the game either on the large screen or seated by one of the many flat screen televisions conveniently located around the club.

The club is designed for privacy and includes a smoking room as well as an elevated dining area.  Food can be ordered from any Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo restaurant or from The Library’s own snack menu.  For reservations & inquiries the Library is contactable on 2491925.

As always, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo has all your whims covered.  After a night of partying on Fridays and Saturdays, The Dining Room offers partygoers a Sri Lankan feast that includes ‘kiribath’, string hoppers, ‘kotthu rotti’ and even ‘roast paan’ with the most delicious curries and sambols at the Night Owl Buffet open from midnight to 4 a.m. and priced at just Rs. 790++++.
