The Galle Face Hotel, Colombo – Sri Lanka’s heritage in hospitality – will host bountiful Christmas Eve dinner buffets in all restaurants on 24 December this season. The fine dining restaurant – 1864, which has exquisite interiors of the finest wood, stone, water and light features, will host a lavish six course dinner set menu on Christmas Eve with a complimentary glass of cognac with jazz entertainment for all guests from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

The unique Verandah Restaurant will feature a lavish Christmas Eve dinner buffet and live entertainment during Christmas Eve, with roast turkey and all the trimmings. The buffet will be on from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m. with a breathtaking view of the Indian Ocean.

The Sea Spray Restaurant is among the best places to dine al fresco under candlelight, with the twinkling lights of the ships in the harbour providing ambient illumination. A grand seafood BBQ dinner buffet with pink sparkling wine on arrival will be on the cards for all guests on Christmas Eve from 7.30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

Mulled wine will be on offer as a welcome drink during dinner. A mouth-watering seafood dinner will be offered with sparkling grape juice at the Sea Spray Restaurant on Christmas Day.
