Bubbly Buffet back at Cinnamon Lakeside

Last month, Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo added to its array of indulgences, a Bubbly Buffet where six sparkling beverages were on offer. Guests were pampered with unlimited amounts of bubbly as well as a buffet spread of fine food to complement, and the evening was declared a success.

Back on its second installment, the Bubbly Buffet will take place on Wednesday, 9 March at The Lounge. The first bottle of bubbly will pop at 7:30 p.m. and it will be a free flow of eight varieties of sparkling beverages from then until 9:30 p.m.

The buffet of accompaniments will cover appetisers such as grissini wrapped with parma ham, platters of anti pasto, cold asparagus with saffron aioli sauce, assorted sushi with condiments, coca catalane, insalata caprese, marinated vegetable escalibada, mini seafood cocktails, a platter of cheeses with freshly baked bread, an assortment of pâtés as well as ceviche.

The Cinnamon Lakeside expert chefs have a selection of hot dishes recommended to be savoured with the drinks. Poached tasmanian salmon with champagne cream, ragout of baby lobster with parmesan, confit of spring chicken with orange caramel, escallops of beef with lemon and pomodoro, sauteed assorted champignons, grilled polenta, pasta siciliana and a Virginia sugar ham with green apple sauce are just some of the dishes on offer.

Bubbly Buffet is priced at Rs. 2,100++++ per person. Reservations will be entertained on 2491956 where the team at The Lounge will assist with inquiries too. The ambience, drinks and food on this evening make a winning combination of an event not to be missed.
