The BBC Crew, flown into the island by Travelon – the crew’s official travel partner – is staying at Ceylon Continental Hotel for 16 days. During this period they will be covering the ICC World Cup Matches in Sri Lanka.

On 28 February Director/General Manager of Ceylon Continental Hotel Upul Gamage and the Directors of Travelon including Chairman Sega Nagendra treated the crew to special cocktails hosted by the Hotel.

Along with most of the island nation, Ceylon Continental has entered into the spirit of the World Cup. With several special promotions including themed bites and cocktails, the Heist Bar includes one large screen and three LED screens and one large screen at the Poolside set up for guests to cheer along as they watch their favorite matches. The Ceylon Continental Hotel is owned and managed by the Hayleys Group.
