April promotion at The Bayleaf offers Friuli Venezia giulia – Italian regional cuisine

The Bayleaf restaurant, set in a historical colonial mansion, offers special monthly promotions apart from its restaurant menu, for all to enjoy.

This month it features a selected menu featuring dishes of the Friuli Venezia giulia region from 16-30 April. Tucked into Italy’s north-eastern corner,

cradled among the Alps, the Venetian plains and the Adriatic Sea, Friuli-Venezia Giulia is an unpretentious region offering a variety of flavors and aromas.  The Bayleaf offers highlights of this regional cuisine with its menu with Fusilli, cavolo Venza Arrosto con pancetta croccante – Fusilli pasta with roasted mixed cabbage, crispy bacon, fresh tomato and rocket, Costoletto di Maiale alla griglia con Insalata de pepperoni – with marinated grilled pork chop with bell pepper salad,Pollo Brasato con Finocchi, olive e scalogni – pan fried chicken leg with fennel, green olives and scallion, and Rotolini di Sogliola con Melanzane – pan fried sole stuffed with mozzarella, jalapeno peppers, wrapped with grilled eggplant and served with spicy pomodoro sauce.
