ZILLIONe Technologies flies Sri Lankan flag high at Microsoft Worldwide Partner Conference

ZILLIONe Technologies (Pvt) Ltd. proudly announced that it had won the 2012 Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Award for Sri Lanka at Microsoft’s prestigious Worldwide Partner Conference, held in Toronto, Canada this year.

The company was honoured among a global field of top Microsoft partners for demonstrating excellence in innovation and implementation of customer solutions based on Microsoft technology.

ZILLIONe had a triple victory that night, apart from winning the prestigious country partner of the year award they also emerged as winners of the APAC Platinum Club – Subsidiary Partner of the Year Award and the APAC Platinum Club – Managed VAR Category Award.

Premier solution provider for Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Hyper-Vbased virtualisation, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Lync, Microsoft Office 365 and Microsoft System Center, ZILLIONe has been a certified partner of Microsoft for the past 10 years.  The company became the first Gold Certified Partner of Microsoft Sri Lanka in 2005 and is also the most awarded Microsoft Partner in Sri Lanka.

The COO said that their win was no simple task, as there were several criteria that needed to be met in order to be eligible for these awards.

“We had to prove our capability not only financially by achieving our targets but we were also expected to portray our ability and readiness to introduce the latest technologies to our clients.  Apart from that we are proud to have taken the Sri Lankan flag to a prominent and international stage by winning this award for Sri Lanka.”

Awards were presented in multiple categories, with winners chosen from a set of nearly 3,000 entrants worldwide. ZILLIONe Technologies was recognised for providing outstanding solutions and services, as well as demonstrating excellent subsidiary engagement in Sri Lanka.

The Microsoft Country Partner of the Year Award honours partners at the country level who have demonstrated business excellence in delivering Microsoft solutions to mutual customers during the past year.

This award recognises ZILLIONe Technologies as succeeding in effective engagement with their local Microsoft office while showcasing innovation and business impact, driving customer satisfaction, and winning new customers.
