Virtusa Corporation, a global business consulting and IT outsourcing company that combines innovation, technology leadership and industry solutions to transform the customer experience, won three gold awards at the recently concluded 22nd Annual National Chamber of Exporters Awards (NCE Awards) in Sri Lanka. The awards are in recognition of the company’s contribution to the country’s export earnings.
Virtusa received the gold award in the ‘Most Value Added Exporter for the year 2013’ category at the event in recognition of how the company uses local talent and resources to add value to its services. Virtusa also bagged the gold awards in the ‘Export of Business and Professional Services – Extra Large Sector’ and ‘Most Outstanding Exporter in the Export of Business and Professional Services – Extra Large Sector’ categories for the third consecutive year.
“We are deeply honoured to be recognised yet again as an exporter who contributes to the Sri Lankan economy. The three gold awards that we’ve received at this year’s NCE Awards are testament to an enterprise-wide focus on excellence in service delivery and commitment to supporting the local economies we operate in,” said Madu Ratnayake, General Manager, Sri Lanka and Senior Vice President at Virtusa.
