Virtusa Corporation, a global business consulting and IT outsourcing company that combines innovation, technology leadership and industry solutions to transform the customer experience, has announced that it has worked with Pegasystems to introduce the company’s Pega-Partner Upgrade Innovation Centres. This program provides dedicated upgrade resources and services to customers around the world, and helps organisations stay current on major Pega platform releases, providing vital expertise and best practices through teams devoted to operationalising the upgrade process. Virtusa will be enabled to upgrade clients to the recently introduced Pega 7 platform as part of this initiative. Today, organisations are looking to continually optimise their core business processes to stay ahead of the competition, reduce operating costs, improve customer experience and drive client success. Pega’s Build for Change platform is a proven solution that empowers organisations to be more responsive to the changing needs of business by improving processes that directly impact customers, including automating call centers, customer service and client onboarding processes. “Pega 7 enables our clients to dramatically improve their customer experience and optimise business processes in ways previously not thought possible,” said Frank Palermo, Senior Vice President – Technical Solutions Group at Virtusa. “We are thrilled to be one of the alliance organisations participating in the Pega-Partner Upgrade Innovation Centers, as we believe that this will benefit our clients.” Virtusa is among a trusted group of companies working with Pega to create an upgrade center program that includes a repeatable methodology for clients to successfully stay current on the latest Pega technology. Virtusa will follow a three-phase approach – discover, execute and transition – to ensure that its clients are rapidly upgraded. “We have a long-standing relationship with Virtusa and they have been a trusted Pegasystems partner over the years,” said John Barone, vice president of Global Strategic Alliances at Pegasystems. “Virtusa’s experience and breadth of capabilities made them an ideal candidate for the Pega-Partner Upgrade Innovation Centers to help us successfully transition customers to the latest technology from Pega.” Virtusa has deep expertise implementing solutions that leverage powerful technologies such as BPM, CRM, ECM, CEM, DW/BI and mobility. This expertise, combined with the company’s business-driven approach and long-standing relationship with Pegasystems made the company a logical choice to help bring Pega 7 to market. Earlier this year, Virtusa was named a Pegasystems Platinum Partner, Pegasystems’ highest partnership level. Virtusa received this honor based on its success implementing large-scale, high-quality, complex BPM projects using Pegasystems’ BPM platform.
