ThinkCube showcases cutting-edge telco cloud computing products at CommunicAsia, Singapore

ThinkCube Systems Ltd., an Access Group company, which conducts ground breaking research in the development of cloud computing solutions for telecommunication providers, leads the industry with innovations which will drive tomorrows telecom services.

ThinkCube’s solutions allow the telecom operators to break-away from their traditional role of being a communication provider to becoming an ICT provider to target markets.

Today, with the requirements to keep up, phone-books have been traded for mobile phone contact lists, corporations have adopted electronic communication as their primary mode of correspondence and fast paced lives value the mobility of technology over all.

From 21 to 24 June ThinkCube will be revealing their solution platforms to the public at the renowned annual CommunicAsia Convention; the largest knowledge-based ICT platform in Asia. ThinkCube will be showcasing their three core products; Aura, Cloud Sync and Athena. The ThinkCube team will also present their concept of platform divergence at the Summit which will be held in concurrence to the exhibition

Aura is ThinkCube’s solution that will allow telcos to address the ‘Software as a Service’ needs of their consumers. Essentially, it will allow telcos to scale their products, offering different packages to different users; based on their requirements. While also allowing telcos to offer a pay-as-you-go model for the subscription of software applications to their customers; allowing them to avoid a large upfront investment and paying based on their usage.

Cloud Sync is the enabler allowing consumers to warehouse their data on the ‘cloud’ and thereby allowing them to synchronise all their important information such as contacts, documents and calendars across their devices; streamlining their access anywhere, anyplace, anytime.

ThinkCube sees even greater potential in their platform, creating Athena; a Learning Management System (LMS) capable of allowing telcos to provide e-learning solutions to their customers. The Athena Portal will act as a go-to source run by the telcos providing educational courses and systems to its customers, while the Virtual LMSs will allow organisations to conduct customised corporate training.

Were a student unable to attend class, then they could access the materials from the portal. Remote regions of the country suffering a scarcity of teaching staff, would have access to a myriad of teaching tools from the portal to aid teaching. Organisations too wouldn’t have to spend on hands-on training methods, but could instead use their own custom VLMS to train their staff.

The potential of ThinkCube’s cloud computing solutions is immense, their ability to bolster the capacity of services that telcos can provide, are likely to see cloud computing based services become the industry standard, with ThinkCube leading the charge.
