First ever fibre broadband powered gaming tournament

Sri Lanka Telecom is powering Sri Lanka’s first ever gaming tournament with their next-level fibre optic broadband – and it’s set to be the ultimate adrenaline rush. The SLT e-Sports Championships challenges all hard-core gamers, both individuals and clans, to take part in this mega event and go head to head in a test of skill and strategy.

The winners will walk away with total of more than one million cash prizes – and that’s not all the telecom giant has in store. SLT has also announced their intentions to activate a specific feature-based product that they tease ‘will enhance the performance of the gamers and give them a competitive edge when playing online’.

The judging and game management will be conducted by Redline Technologies and XiphoseSports – SLT’s partners for the event. Prior registration is needed for team challenges, while individual titles require walk-in registration. The various games are as follows:

Team Titles

  • Counter Strike: Global Offensive
  • Dota 2
  • Halo 3
  • League of Legends
  • Individual Titles
  • FIFA 15
  • Grid: Autosport
