Techsas (Pvt). Ltd. will be introducing the latest line of Greentel phones into the Sri Lankan market for the first time.

The unique feature of these phones, that have garnered them international attention, are the fact that they are made completely out of recyclable materials in an effort to reduce the e-waste generated by the electronic devices.

Electronic devices, especially mobile phones, have transcended their former niche market state and have instead become mass market products.

Because of their mass appeal and the rate at which the technology that governs their design evolves, a large amount of waste is generated by their disposal.

In light of this and the way in which consumers have become more conscious of their impact on the environment, Techsas believe that the introduction of the Greentel phone and their recyclable business model will cater to this trend and bring benefits to the consumer.

The Greentel business model will allows consumers shopping for new phones to bring in their older Greentel models and purchase new phones at discounted, trade-in rebate prices.

All the parts of the older Greentel phones turned in will be recycled, minimising both the environmental impact and the financial impact of upgrading to a new phone model.

Greentel Mobiles comes with fully packed features at very reasonable pries starting from Rs. 2990. Another special feature of the range is the traceability of the phones; if the phone gets lost the owner can trace the phone with the support of the software called mobile tracker which is available in all Greentel mobile phones.

All repairs and services will be carried out by Techsas (Pvt) Ltd, within three working days.

If the customer is residing in close proximity to the location of the company, there is an opportunity of getting the repair done within 24 hours. All the phone models have a one year warranty period.

The GT 100, GT 400 and G8 phone models have been launched in the market and the GT-G20 Android TAB to be released very soon.
