V S Information Systems organised an informative session on IP surveillance technologies on 5 November at the Grand Crystal Ballroom Hotel, Taj Samudra Colombo. This event was jointly organised by VSIS and Axis Communications, the world market leader in the business of IP Surveillance.
“Key focus of this event was to introduce how Internet of things (IOT) is shaping the future of IP surveillance and to demystify the myths on the IP surveillance,” stated V S Information Systems Director Kithsiri Gunasekara. He further stated that as an AXIS Gold Partner, VSIS has successfully implemented many large scale IP Surveillance projects and has been receiving outstanding feedback on the quality and reliability of the AXIS products. Axis Communications Senior Consultant Phillip Seow explained how AXIS products go beyond cameras and has entered into other IOT systems such as IP based access control.
VSIS Head of Enterprise Business Daniel Ananthan also spoke on lessons learned by VSIS in implementing large scale IP surveillance projects in Sri Lanka. AXIS Country Manager for Sri Lanka Akalanka Wijesundara was also present in this event.
