SYNAPSYS debut’s flagship products in Malaysia

Introduces cutting-edge technology solutions to banking sector at   BankTech Asia 2011

Taking banking beyond borders, Sri Lanka’s emerging financial solutions provider SYNAPSYS, demonstrated its innovative approach to banking through the introduction of its flagship products and services at BankTech Asia 2011. SYNAPSYS was a Silver Sponsor of the Banking Technology 2011 Conference and Exhibition which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia recently with the participation of a wide array of industry experts and top officials. Among the distinguished visitors was the Deputy Minister of Finance, Malaysia, the Ambassador for Sri Lanka in Malaysia and representatives of the BFSI sector in the Asian region.

BankTech Asia 2011 featured a two-day multi-streamed conference with a series of panel discussions led by a team of experts in the financial industry. In parallel, it also featured a two-day exhibition that showcased innovative technology in the banking arena, bringing together over 150 participants within the Asian region.

SYNAPSYS’ CEO Dinesh Fernandopulle was a plenary speaker at the conference during which he discussed his views on the future of Banking. “In a world where customers are continuously connected to all their interests through broadband and social media, banks need to align their business with the next generation of consumer – Generation C” Fernandopulle said. SYNAPSYS plans to expand its presence in Malaysia given the demand for innovative products and services in the region.
