Intel Sri Lanka has joined hands with Singer Computers to become the official IT partner for the country’s cricket team.
The three parties signed a memorandum of understanding to formalise the announcement today.
Singer computers powered by Intel processors will be used by the Sri Lankan cricket team for all their IT needs.
These computing devices will help the team capture, store, download, analyse and compare statistics and other vital information of individual players and teams alike.
Speaking on the occasion, Singer Sri Lanka Marketing Director Nasser Majeed said “We’re very happy to be part of the Sri Lanka cricket team along with Intel as the official IT partners. Our computing devices powered by Intel processors will provide reliable and high quality solutions for the team’s IT needs.”
Sri Lanka Cricket CEO Ajith Jayasekara said, “Technology has the power to enhance a team’s performance greatly and very pleased that we have two reputed organisations on board as our official IT partners. We are certain that Singer and Intel will help us leverage the power of technology to improve game play.”
Speaking on the occasion, Intel EM Ltd, Sri Lanka Liaison Office Country Business Manager Indika De Zoysa said, “Intel is very proud to join hands with Singer Computers to become the official IT partners for our country’s cricket team.
