SINGER Sri Lanka achieved Named Account status with Microsoft during an occasion held last week.

The event was graced by István Papp – Vice President Microsoft Asia Pacific, Brian Kealey- Country Manager – Sri Lanka and the Maldives and Pubudu Basnayake – OEM Director – South East Asia New Markets from Microsoft and Asoka Pieris, Group CEO, Mahesh Wijewardene – Director – Marketing and Commercial and Vajira Tennakoon – Marketing Manager – Electronics and Digital Media and Thayalan Emmanuel – Senior Assistant Brand Manager – Computers of SINGER Sri Lanka.

The new venture for SINGER as local OEM partners has been denoted as a strategic priority for Microsoft and Intel, enabling growth in the devices ecosystem whilst reaching out to a wider commercial and consumer audience. 

This is yet another milestone for SINGER Sri Lanka proving that the company has set exemplary standards expected of Microsoft partners and will further enhance the brand’s global visibility.

As a Named Account, SINGER has now entered the echelons of large multinationals that prefer this arrangement with Microsoft Sri Lanka for the numerous advantages it offers them. By taking this strategic step, SINGER joins the world’s best brands operating with Microsoft under this agreement. This agreement will also help SINGER promote their brand name locally and internationally
