Samsung Electronics in Sri Lanka has relocated to a new office, on the fourth floor of No. 109, Rotunda Building, Colombo 3. The office was inaugurated by H.C. Hong, President and CEO of Samsung India Electronics, Won Sam Chang, Korean Ambassador in Sri Lanka and Youngmin Shin, Managing Director of Samsung in Sri Lanka, in a ribbon cutting ceremony that was preceded by the traditional lighting of the oil lamp.
The office features a dream studio academy to conduct consumer experience activities. Additionally, a mini ballroom and auditorium will also provide a spacious area, where all of Samsung’s high-end products and range of devices will be showcased. The new office will enable Samsung to host a variety of engagement-driven activities, including movie nights on SUHD TVs and other interactive events. Virtual reality gear will also be featured at the new premises, so customers can enjoy a range of first-hand experiences and interactions with different Samsung products.
Youngmin Shin, Managing Director of Samsung in Sri Lanka, said, “In Sri Lanka, we have tried to drive customer engagement by hosting a variety of events and experiences. It is by continuously interacting with our valued customers that we are able to build long-lasting relationships with them and strengthen their connection with the Samsung brand. We are delighted to open this new office, which will undoubtedly serve as an important base for our operations in Sri Lanka.”
