Samsung Electronics to reveal new Galaxy S6 at Samsung Day event

Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. announced that it would unveil the Samsung Galaxy S6 in Sri Lanka, at the upcoming Samsung Day event, which is being organised for the first time ever, on 28 March. Samsung Day will be a day-long event offering families a platform for fun and entertainment. The event will begin from 10 a.m. onwards at Arcade Independence Square in Colombo.

The new Samsung Galaxy S6 will be revealed to the people of Sri Lanka at 7 p.m., giving them the opportunity to preview and pre-order the device at the event. From 9 p.m. onwards the ‘Music Mayhem’ after-party will commence with performances by DJs and popular artists such as Bathiya and Santhush. A variety of activities will be organised at Samsung Day offering something for everyone across all age groups such as a kids’ play zone for children, live cookery demonstrations with Knorr for mothers and an innovative game zone for teenagers. An array of Samsung distributor stalls will also provide exciting promotions on the very latest Samsung consumer electronics, mobile phones and other products. At Samsung Day, people will be able to witness performances by upcoming bands, karaoke competitions and a variety of mini activities will be conducted throughout the day. People will have the opportunity to participate in a variety of competitions and will have the chance to take home exciting Samsung products. The Galaxy S6 sets a new standard for design, craftsmanship and performance and uses premium materials and the most advanced Samsung technology to offer consumer an unmatched mobile experience. The device will hit the retail shelves from11 April onwards.
