Sampath IT Solutions recognised as Best Business ICT Provider of the Year

In recognition of developing cutting-edge information technology solutions, Sampath IT Solutions, a member company of the Sampath Bank Group was recognised as the Best Business ICT Solutions Provider of the year at the recently concluded South Asian Partnership Summit Awards (SAPS) 2016 held at Waters Edge. 

Sampath IT Solutions also bagged the bronze award under the Financial Industry Software Applications category at the National Best Quality Software Awards (NBQSA) 2016 held recently at the Galadari Hotel Colombo.

Sampath IT Solutions was honoured as the Best Business ICT Solutions Provider based on their design of a full suite of IT services which is integrated into a solution that encompasses a wide range of IT skills eliminating associated costs of recruiting, training and retention. Further, a single source of maintenance services have been introduced to clients to simplify and reduce the cost of managing multivendor infrastructure with a range of technology platforms that isolate problematic situations and avoid extended outages and downtime. 

The design has also provided our clients with maintenance contracts for all ICT related issues that include the support for HP, Dell, EMC, Cisco, Lenovo, Lexmark and other vendor platforms based on client requirements.

The South Asian Partnership Summit and Business Awards honours and celebrates leaders around the region, recognising the prestige of outstanding companies, organisations and leaders in the South Asian business world. The award ceremony was attended by senior corporate sector leaders and officials from several South Asian countries including Pakistan, India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Maldives, Bhutan, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka.

Sampath IT Solutions was recognised at the NBQSA award ceremony for the FIN Bank Leasing and Hire Purchase Solution. This consists of a fully automated system, developed to operate on web-based platforms on Windows and operates on a real-time basis, linking all service points of their clients’ online network systems. From the initial customer contact point of the leasing and HP processes, the entire operation is set in a user-friendly environment, requiring minimum manual intervention, thus reducing the manual workload and optimising the effectiveness of the end result.

NBQSA is an annual event organised by the BCS Chartered Institute for IT in Sri Lanka with the objective of showcasing and benchmarking Sri Lankan ICT products.
