the swift direction of visitors to the desired location within a building with multiple floors. The system complements building security and access control systems.
Another highlight of the system is that it enables the employees in an organisation to interact with the
system with varied communication methods such as SMS and e-mail to receive notifications of visitor arrivals, their purpose of visit and prior approved visitors.
The system was initially deployed during the Sri Lanka EXPO 2012, which saw over 2,000 foreign and local delegates visiting the three day EXPO. Eliminating long queues the system swiftly
processed all the delegates to the EXPO and the visitor identification provided accurate details of the visitors to the EXPO organisers. The system is also deployed in Australia at large factories to track visitor movements within the manufacturing plants.
Built around the Microsoft.Net platform, the application has compelling dynamic dashboards with comprehensive graphics and numerous reporting features that can supply the management with valuable visitor statistics for analysis.
The application also supports mobile devices running on Windows Phone 8, iOS and Android. The system is completely localised to meet Sri Lankan standards including multi-language support and is designed and developed entirely by the local development team at Peercore’s development centre at the World Trade Center in Colombo.
