Nokia dual SIM phones’ Lankan launch in July

Nokia is to launch its dual SIM phone series in Sri Lanka next month, officials of the global giant present at Nokia Connections 2011 in Singapore told the Daily FT.

The first dual SIM phone of Nokia N X1-00 and X1-01 were launched in India recently and in other select markets thereafter. The introduction of C2-02, C2-03 and C2-06 (the latter two are dual SIM phones with C2-06 as the expensive version) was part of strengthening Nokia’s offering to this segment of the mobile telephony market.
