Incorporated in Sri Lanka on 15 July 1987 under the Companies Act No. 17 of 1982, and re-registered under the Companies Act No. 07 of 2007, Nation Lanka Finance is a finance company regulated by the Central Bank of Sri Lanka with a rich heritage of 25 years.
The Oracle E-Business Suite Financials module, a part of the Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1, has been integrated with Nation Lanka Finance’s front office applications. This deployment will help increase its efficiency and reduce back-office costs with standardised processes for shared services, productivity tools, and integrated financial performance management. This deployment will also help manage the organization from a single, integrated system and comply with multiple legislations, accounting standards, and policies, while facilitating financial control and corporate governance with a holistic approach to compliance and risk management.
“One of the key features of Oracle E-Business-Suite 12.1 is that it delivers critical information across many departments, thereby enabling an information-driven value chain which is crucial for an organisation such as Nation Lanka Finance,” said Nation Lanka Finance PLC Chief Finance Officer Prasanna Habaragamuwa.
“The new ERP system has blended in with our existing IT infrastructure and connected our 22 branches, enabling us to reduce back-office costs and facilitate the necessary financial control and corporate governance to ensure superior service.”
Oracle E-Business Suite applications help customers manage the complexities of global business environments whether the organisation is small, medium, or large in size. As part of Oracle’s ‘Applications Unlimited’ strategy, Oracle E-Business Suite applications will continue to be enhanced, thus protecting and extending the value of the organisation’s software investment.
“While Oracle E-Business Suite offers numerous benefits, our team analysed the existing infrastructure and networking system to create the best possible integrated solution,” said DMS Software Technologies Ltd. Director/General Manager Palitha Rodrigo.
