Micromax launches A74 Canvas Fun and A76 Canvas Fun

Micromax, the leading Indian mobile handset company, has announced the launch of its latest Canvas series 3G Android smartphones – the 4.5 inch ‘A74 Canvas Fun’ and 5 inch ‘A76 Canvas Fun’.  Both devices have an extensive range of pre-loaded applications, tiled notifications and a refined user interface, in addition to full capacitive screens. The Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean operating system facilitates users to download any enhanced Google Play application they like. The phones allow users to capture their enjoyable moments and have video calls and chats as they are equipped with a 5 MP rear camera and a 0.3 MP front facing camera. The devices support Bluetooth 2.0, Wi-Fi, USB 2.0 and GSP, ensuring connectivity and sharing of files at any time. Storage, too, is made easier as both phones come with an expandable memory of 32 GB. The A74 and A76 also offer a faster, immersive gaming experience since the phones possess a 1.3 GHz and 1.2 GHz dual core processor respectively. The A74 has a battery capacity of 1500 mAh and the A76 has a 2000 mAh battery capacity. Adding a vivid quality to their designs, the phones are launched in 3 colourful variants of Mystic Blue, Raging Red and Midnight Black. Commenting on the launch, Micromax Sri Lanka country manager Sanjeev Ariaratnam stated, “Both the A74 and A76 have modern, attractive designs with superior features and are priced at very competitive prices. With this launch, we hope to capitalise on the demand for affordable and good quality smartphones in Sri Lanka.”
