Microimage wins Microsoft Partner Award for the ‘Best ISV Application’

Microimage, the award winning Software Engineering Company that is 100% Sri Lankan owned, made a splash at the recent Microsoft Partner Awards held in Colombo by winning the award for ‘Best ISV Application Developed on Microsoft Technologies.’ This year’s award for the Best ISV Application developed on Microsoft technologies was won by Microimage Mobile Media for its flagship radio automation solution; mstudio, which is a complete automated solution  designed to cater to all aspects of a media supply chain of a radio station. The solution has the ability to acquire and manage advertising customers (sales), to produce, archive and retrieve entertainment and commercial media (production), to schedule entertainment and commercials according to the set business rules (scheduling), to pump media according to the schedule to the listeners mixed in with the presenter’s personality and also to present infotainment items such as news (on air play). The product is developed using multiple Microsoft technologies such as; Dot Net Framework, Microsoft Sync Framework, c# .net, ASP.net, Direct X, Windows and SQL Server Clustering and SQL Replication. Commenting on company’s achievement, Microimage COO Suren Rupasinghe stated, “It is a great honour to win this award.
